Ages:
Dino Drop-In provides quality care for infants (6 weeks and up), toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children. (Kennewick location accepts only ages 30 months and up.)
Meals and snacks:
Meals maybe purchased or brought from home. If your child is in the facility between 11:30am and 12n or 5:30-6pm; please be sure your child brings a meal or they will be served a meal for a charge of $3.50. Snack times are 9am and 2:45pm. Snacks will be provided by Dino Drop In and will consist of simple, child friendly, finger food. Every effort will be made to provide healthy, fresh, organic snacks. We do not restrict what you may bring for your child to eat. If any of the children present have an allergy they will be seated with children who don’t have that type of food. If your child has food sensitivities or allergies, please provide all meals and snacks for them.
Keeping clean:
Each child should have an extra set of clothing with them. Diapers are to be provided by parents/guardians however we have diapers available for $1 each.
Sick Kids:
Children with contagious illness should not be brought to Dino Drop-In. This includes but is not limited to:
- Fevers above 99.9
- Unexplained Rashes
- Conjunctivitis/Pink eye
- Mucus from mouth or nose that is thick and yellow
- Ear Infections
- Head Lice
- Vomiting or diarrhea
If a child presents any of these symptoms while at Dino Drop-In parents will be called asked to pick up immediately.
Outside Toys:
To assure the safety of all little ones in our care we don’t permit outside toys in our centers. Children who bring toys should plan to keep them in their bags during their visit. Exceptions will be made for toys that comfort a distressed child during their visit or nap time.
Closing:
Dino Drop-In strives to be as flexible as possible to well serve our community and your family. We are closed on the following holidays to allow our staff to have family time; New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas.
Early Drop-off:
You can make a reservation 24 hours in advance if your child needs to stay up to an hour past our closing time. Due to the operational and staffing costs, the rate for the time scheduled after hours goes up to $15/per hour.
Late pick-up:
Children must be picked up by closing time at each individual center. If you are aware that you are going to be late, you should call the Center to inform staff and let them know when you expect to arrive to up your child/ren. If you are late, a late fee will be charged. When a child is not picked up by closing time, staff will remain at the drop-in until the situation is resolved.
